There are many mythical creatures around the world which resembles Troll found in Scandinavian tales. Dokkaebi in Korean myth, Dujiaoguiwang in Chinese tales and Onni in Japanese myths for example. Deem ugly by humans, they live away from humans. Often they are considered harmless, but clumsy and unintelligent.

The existence of this world wide myth of troll may explained by the fundamental human desire to categorize and separate out an other to define their own identity. Trolls, by the standard of human world exists beyond the logic that underlies the language that we use to communicate about everything. These sketches are an expression of misrecognition and unrecognition suffered by those.
